Today, our friends at Clash premiered Plastic Flowers' stunning new video for the song "How Can I." Filmed in London by Pedro Takahashi, a frequent collaborator of Plastic Flowers band-leader, George Samaras, the video follows the journey of a football over time.
"Building on the sensual elements of his music, 'How Can I' interlaces this with evocative symbolism to create something pretty special."

Today we're thrilled to introduce you to our latest singing, June Pastel! Conceived in Salt Lake City, and realized in Baltimore, June Pastel is the work of Anthony Peña. A Venezuelan-American whose music stretches through the intersections of indie, pop, jazz, and chamber music, June Pastel sits at the rare transitory space only available through processes of growth and motion.
On the band’s debut single “Without a Phrase,” Anthony explores the kind of smooth and dreamy indie rock that brings to mind Wild Nothing, and Craft Spells, with a little bit of jazz weaved in for good measure. It’s the perfect primer for not just the band, but the album to come.

Welcome Tea Leigh and Luke Reed to the family! You may know Luke from his 'Won't Be There' LP, which we re-released earlier this year, but what you may not know is that he also writes and produces music with Tea Leigh, a Brooklyn-based tattoo artist with an incredible voice. Gorilla vs. Bear is premiering "Underwater," their first single years.
"It’s a wistful, gently woozy love song that will almost certainly elicit a dreamlike state of longing that you won’t be in any hurry to shake."

Neaux's brand new album 'Chain Up the Sun' is officially out today! Alternative Press is streaming it in full, along with a feature on Sierra's traveling life.
Here's a short preview: "A departure from her emo-rock turned mood-pop explorations of old, Neaux conjures up a noisy alternative rock with a droned-out patina of punk. It’s as if Tragic Kingdom-era No Doubt dabbled in shoegaze. “We wrote these songs about a year ago; and at the time I was listening to a lot of Sonic Youth, Slowdive, Angel Olsen, Father John Misty, Sharon Van Etten, Lana Del Rey [and] Title Fight. Really it’s all over the place, but I think you can hear a bit of everyone in there. Now I’ve been listening to a lot of classic country and soul and even more female singer-songwriters. We’ll see where that takes us,” she says laughing."
